I don't think it's Kosher, but I know it's halal. If the standards of practice are followed, then Kosher and halal domestic meat is just as healthy as hunted meat (maybe more because of the effects of pesticides etc.). God commands the Jews and the Muslims in the proper method for raising and consuming meat, so that is what He intends.
People have been raising animals in farms even in biblical days. In the book of Genesis (which I don't take so literally just for the record) the sons of Adam %26amp; Eve, Cain %26amp; Abel... Abel raised animals %26amp; God preferred his animal sacrifice over Cain's ';crop'; sacrifice (which is why the jealous Cain killed Abel).... just to show a biblical example.





As for animals being happier... listen... a friend of mine lived on a farm where they raised cattle. Kids playing with matches set the cattle barn on fire %26amp; when they took out all the cows from out of the barn, the stupid beasts were so exited from fear they ran back into the burning barn for safety. More than half of them died. This is how stupid these animals are... believe me, they are happy being fattened in captivity... they don't know any better.
When people started gathering together in groups and families, hunters would kill the meat and distribute it amongst the people. Then greed came in and instead of sharing, they sold it.





It's been that way ever since.





You are certainly free to buy yourself a parcel of land and hunt your meat. I will continue to buy mine.
