Why is it that every time Obama has been asked about the second amendment he starts talking about hunting?

Has he ever read the constitution? It says nothing about hunting it is about protecting ourselves. It is about if a person breaks into your house at 3am being able to shoot him before he shoots you or your family. Why is it that every time Obama has been asked about the second amendment he starts talking about hunting?
He doesn't want to go into specifics unless he's in San Fransisco or in the Oval Office.

Actually, the second amendment states the right to bear arms, and unless you're more dumb than you already sound, it's clear that hunting involves possession of a gun.


Now, unless you need a little kid to point out the connection for you, it's clear that hunting and bearing arms are connected, and that hunting is quite popular in the United States.
