What are good hunting tools for Beagles?

i want my beagle to be able to hunt coons and rabbits what are good hunting tips and tools/toysWhat are good hunting tools for Beagles?
Find some one with older dogs your pup can run with. I would not advise trying to hunt coons with beagles. Much of what your pup needs to run rabbits he was born with, running with older dogs will teach him the rest.

Well once he comes across a rabbit trail while chasing a coon he will turn and follow bunnies. A big coon can rip up those little dogs if they got close. I would get a coon dog.
* Beagles do not Hunt Raccoons, they Hunt Fox, Cottontail or Jack Rabbits.*
if a coon pulls ur beagle into the water its dead. but just let them get used to the scents and let them play with it. get a rabbit foot on a rope and drag her around
I'd say get a coon skin/rabbit skin and have them ';attack'; it. Once they get used to the scent, they'll figure out the rest.
