What is a good cb radio for dog hunting?

I am starting to run dogs with some friends of mine need advice on good cb?What is a good cb radio for dog hunting?
Get the Motorola FRS UHF radios..... I dont recommend CB radios.... CB's operate around 27 MHZ. The problem with 27MHZ is the radios are generaly larger and have big antennas to be more effective...... The UHF radios on the other hand operate at 465 MHZ.... The radios can be smaller and UHF tends to penetrate the woods better than CB channels..... CB is great to mount in your vehicles and with a good antenna (think 4 feet) on the roof they can be good communicators on the road, but handheld CB radios arent built that well... TAKE NOTE!! If you buy the FRS radios you will note some of these have a private talk or similar features so only your radios can communicate in your group... Leave this feature disabled. That way if rescue folks or others with different brand radios want to talk with you they can.... If you have lets say Motorola FRS radios and another guys in your group buys Jensen, Midland, Rangers, GE, etc.etc radios they will still be able to talk with you. Just leave any privacy code features disabled......What is a good cb radio for dog hunting?
Well it depends on what kind of dog hunting you are doing. If you are running beagles for rabbits then you can get by with the hand held Motorola's or like brands . But if you are running large hounds for big game I would recommend a good high quality brand such as Cobra or Midland check around the truck stops you can come across a good deal on a good radio that has been turned up and ready to go
