Would you be a better soldier if you have grown up shooting guns and hunting?

Thats what someone told me.

sorry for asking all the questions about marines and stuff, i got a lot on my mind.Would you be a better soldier if you have grown up shooting guns and hunting?
No

It would only make you a better shot, maybe

Most of the expert marksmen in my company were women who never held a gun

Hunting and shooting does not make you a soldierWould you be a better soldier if you have grown up shooting guns and hunting?
Shooting guns and hunting, might make you a better marksman ( if your good at it),

But remember this. The Best Soldier Never Has To Fire His Weapon.

Or

A Soldiers Best Weapon is his mind.

So if your good at hunting, good for you. But don't think just because you can kill tow birds with one stone is gonna make you GI JOE.

Remember that.

Good Luck
Well, you would probably be better at shooting weapons upon entering bootcamp, meaning you would qualify for some higher-up rifleman MOS's like scout sniper.

But everyone is taught how to shoot guns, so you would probably just get a temporary head start on everyone else.
No, it won't make you a better soldier and it won't, necessarily, make you a better shot. In fact, it may make you worse at marksmanship if you have developed bad habits.
It'll probably make you significantly better at marksmanship.

But marksmanship is only one of many skills needed and practiced by a soldier.
That might make you more comfortable with a weapon but that doesn't necessarily make you a better soldier. There is more to it than carrying around a gun.
Ummm. Animals don't tend to shoot back. Might make a bit of a difference.
it will help with the basic training and make you stand out but thats it
