In your experience how long do you do your rattling antler sequences when deer hunting?

Include how long the sessions are when they are most productive and how long you wait before rattling again. I will not be moving around i will be in one stand. Thanks for your help!In your experience how long do you do your rattling antler sequences when deer hunting?
Never waste your time by rattling before the onset of the rut, or after does are readily available for breeding, remember that. Time your rattling to when you see the mature bucks chasing does and being refused by them.

This is a obvious signal that testosterone levels are close to maximum and that bucks will be set off by a fight. Scrapes should also be red hot at this time. When scrapes go cold it means the time for rattling has passed.

It is advisable to try for 60 seconds or so. Wait for approximately 15 minutes and go again but for less time (about 45 seconds or so). Repeat this procedure. In your experience how long do you do your rattling antler sequences when deer hunting?
The key to rattling in bucks is the Buck to Doe ratio has to be high....if you only have a few bucks and hundreds of does rattling will be a complete waste of time.

Rattling sequences should be no more than 30 to 45 seconds....DO NOT OVER rattle....dont forget to grunt and snort wheeze along with the rattling

Wait about 2-3 minutes then rattle again only do this 3 or 4 times in an hour period Unless you SEE a buck walking away from you...then rattle...make some noise get his attention...hes moving away anyways so try to lure him in for the shot.

Try for 60-90 seconds on the first sequence. Wait about ten minutes before you start another sequence. The second sequence should last about 45-60 seconds. Wait another 10-15 minutes before going once more for about 45-60.
